Activities September 2011 – March 2012
New activities this term are:
- Supporting your child’s learning – a five week course for parents and carers to learn more about how to develop their child’s interests using low cost play ideas.
- Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities – a 13 week parenting programme that builds on families cultural and ethnicc roots and provides a space for parents to share their experiences bringing up children and learn new ways of dealing with common challenges.
- Hackney Playbus – a double decker bus kitted out with play activities for under 8s will be on the Exeter Road Estate on Fridays 10am – 12.00noon during September 2011.

We will continue to run family activities during school half terms (24th -28th October 2011 and 13th -17th February 2012). Collect a timetable from Queens Road Community Centre, the nursery school or click here to download a copy a week before start date.
Please note: the Centre will closed from Monday 19th December 2011 re opening on Tuesday 3rd January 2012.
