Activities from April 2010
Our range of activities and support services continue to grow. See our latest newsletter and timetable for full details. Our family support and health staff will be available during our monthly come and chat sessions running during Stay and Play and the Under 1s group. In addition to answering any queries from regular parents/carers staff will also welcome parents new to area or those wishing to register a new baby or just find out more about our activities Click here for come and chat flyer.

Young parents (Under 25 years)
Many young parents have told us they feel a bit ‘intimidated and uncomfortable’ coming to our open groups and sometimes ‘judged’ as a parent because of their age. In response we are restarting our young parents group on Friday 23rd April (1.00pm -2.30pm). Come and meet other young parents and take part in shared activities. To find out more ring or text Nicola on 079329960. You can also join the face book group Waltham Forest Young Parents.

Dads R Us
It’s great to see more fathers and male carers (Uncles and Grandfathers) attending our activities. We’ve created a new page on this website to keep them up to date with what’s happening. See Dads R Us page.

Staff update
We are pleased to welcome Saleha Kajee, Thaisa Muhara and Mary Nwabuzor as sessional early years workers. They will support our existing team with our range of play and crèche activities.
