Besides being a parent there may be other things that you want to do or are affecting your life. Our Centre offers information on many issues:
Education and employment
Thinking of going back to work, learning new skills or doing a training course and don’t know where to start? We work closely with Job Centre Plus and local organisations offering adult education. We can put you in touch with someone to talk to and link you in to local opportunities.
Welfare Advice
Having problems with money, housing, filling in forms or just needing to know where to sort out a problem? We run a weekly advice session where you can get information and advice on many issues that might be affecting you or your family.
Help with finding childcare
Looking for and paying for, childcare can be stressful. Working closely with the Children’s Information Service we can give you details of local childcare providers including childminders, playgroups and nurseries.
We can also suggest potential sources of funding for childcare.
